Harrah's East Chicago Casino and

features 2,004 slots and forty-nine table games. The property
has six restaurants and a hotel with 294 rooms. If you are
looking for the old Mardis Gras casino, this is it. The Mardi
Gras was bought out by Harrah's, but not much has changed.
There are some 1,700 slot machines, and three levels of table
games, including mini-baccarat, which is slowly becoming more
popular in the Midwest. As far as the table games go, they
are average, with fairly lenient rules and decent cuts on
blackjack, albeit on a six-deck shoe. There is the usual food
offering: a pretty standard buffet, a variety of snack bars
and one nicer restaurant for you to spend your winnings on.
